Whilst the summer hasn't given us so far what we might hope for in terms of heat and sunshine, the wet June and July have been great for the ground and got both teams itching to get back on the rugby pitch.

Preseason training has started with a bang for all senior teams. The women's+ team has already welcomed down 7 new players this season, and most recently had 34 players at training. The men's senior team has focussed on a combination of fitness and skills, as they look forward to a new league having achieved promotion at the end of the 2023/24 season.

The women's+ teams have two big preseason fixtures scheduled - both double headers for their first and second teams, against Beckenham (away) and Newbury (home). The men will be taking on Actonians and Southwark Lancers.

A key date for your diary is Saturday 31st August when the men's 1st and 2nd team will both face Southwark Lancers 1s and 2s, and the women's+ teams will both play against Newbury 1s and 2s - all at the Frant Road Fortress!

Training for all senior players is 19:30-21:00 every Tuesday and Thursday evening, and new players are positively encouraged to come down and join in - no experience necessary!
